Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Trevor Gratis and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lamoureux misses with a hook. Thunder ducked under it nicely.
Thunder shoots in and bounces Lamoureux off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Thunder seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Lamoureux is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Thunder is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Thunder is refusing to be controlled, as Lamoureux sits in half guard.

Thunder is concentrating on defense, preventing Lamoureux from advancing position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Thunder can do anything to dispel that myth.

Thunder tries to get to full guard but Lamoureux has control of the leg.
Lamoureux is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Thunder is trying to maintain the position but Lamoureux is very close to passing his half guard.

Lamoureux moves into full mount! Thunder won't be happy about that!

Thunder is looking to improve his position but Lamoureux isn't that keen on the idea.
Thunder stops Lamoureux from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.

Lamoureux has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lamoureux looking to control but Thunder is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lamoureux trying to control but Thunder is having none of it.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Lamoureux is really struggling to control Thunder but he's trying to hold on to the position.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Lamoureux throws a looping overhand right but Thunder ducks down to avoid it.
A little jabbing left from Thunder on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Thunder doesn't manage to clinch there - Lamoureux circles away.
Thunder gets the takedown into side control.
Thunder wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lamoureux keeps working.
Lamoureux can't do much from the bottom here.
Lamoureux might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Thunder is looking to take a break and control but Lamoureux is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Thunder swings around for an armbar but Lamoureux sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Thunder's guard.

Thunder tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Thunder really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lamoureux. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Lamoureux sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Thunder's guard.
Thunder wants to control but Lamoureux is keeping busy.

Thunder is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Lamoureux is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
Lamoureux looking to secure an arm triangle but Thunder defends it well.
Thunder tries to hold on but Lamoureux postures up.
Lamoureux is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Thunder can do to turn this around?

I really don't envy Thunder right now.

Lamoureux has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Thunder! Can he survive? No! He's out! Lamoureux gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
