Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Wayne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yde Nahoe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bruce Wayne! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Yde Nahoe! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Dillan Fox and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nahoe fails in his attempt to clinch. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Nahoe darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wayne trying to control but Nahoe postures up.
Wayne tries to roll over but Nahoe keeps him under control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nahoe escapes and gets back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. The fight stays on the outside here - Nahoe looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Wayne shoots in looking for a takedown. Nahoe tries to sprawl out of it but Wayne keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Nahoe manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Wayne with a lazy takedown attempt so Nahoe counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Wayne is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Wayne throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Nahoe escapes and throws Wayne's legs to the side, diving into side control! Nahoe wants to stand but Wayne has his arm trapped.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nahoe trying to control the position but Wayne is working away. Wayne is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Wayne is trying to control Nahoe's posture but Nahoe avoids it. Nahoe really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wayne. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Wayne tries to improve position but can't.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nahoe wants to lay and pray for a moment but Wayne keeps working. Wayne sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Wayne is looking for a sweep. Nahoe is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Wayne moves into range and clinches up with Nahoe. Nahoe trying to land knees to the body.

Nahoe is looking to control Wayne's arms but Wayne gets an underhook and turns him. Now Nahoe has his back to the cage. Nahoe with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Wayne is trying to trip Nahoe. He has hold of a leg but Nahoe is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Wayne persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wayne wants to control from the top but Nahoe keeps moving. Nahoe has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Wayne off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Nahoe fails with the takedown and Wayne counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Nahoe! Wayne landing strikes from the mount and Nahoe is in trouble! Wayne goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Nahoe is on top in guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Wayne is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Bruce Wayne will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Nahoe closes the distance looking to clinch and Wayne decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Nahoe's guard. Nahoe can't keep his opponent in guard - Wayne advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Wayne content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Wayne wants to pass to mount but Nahoe is defending the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wayne perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Wayne is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Wayne is trying to work for a kimura but Nahoe is defending well.
Nahoe wants to get back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Wayne wants to pass to mount but Nahoe is defending the position. Wayne is working hard here to advance position.

That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Nahoe's guard. Bruce Wayne overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nahoe wants to control but Wayne is keeping busy.
Wayne is looking to advance position but Nahoe won't allow it. Wayne thows a huge punch but Nahoe dodges it nicely.
Wayne is looking to take a break and control but Nahoe is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Wayne is looking for a kimura here.
Wayne winds up and cracks Nahoe with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Nahoe is in trouble now - Wayne has advanced to mount! Wayne moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Nahoe has worked his arm free - good work by Nahoe!
Wayne tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Wayne tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Wayne has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bruce Wayne dominated that second round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Nahoe feints and as Wayne raises his hands in defense, Nahoe changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wayne bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Nahoe's guard. Wayne wants to pass the guard but Nahoe is keeping the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nahoe keeping moving, preventing Wayne from controlling successfully. Nahoe is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Wayne is controlling him. Nahoe preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Wayne with a flurry of punches that miss. Wayne stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Nahoe swivels though and keeps the full guard. Wayne looking to sit in guard and control but Nahoe gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Wayne looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Nahoe decides to stand back up. Nahoe takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Wayne feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Wayne pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Nahoe is keeping the position for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wayne pushing down on Nahoe's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Wayne not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wayne is stalling here. Nahoe is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Wayne seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Nahoe has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Wayne is looking to regain half guard here but Nahoe keeps moving and retains side control. Wayne regains half guard. Yde Nahoe has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Wayne is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Wayne is trying to maintain the position but Nahoe is very close to passing his half guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Wayne regains full guard. Nicely done.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Bruce Wayne. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Wayne, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
