Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Clement Wright (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rafael Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rafael Silva has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva throws a low kick but Wright moves out of range easily.
Wright could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Silva closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Silva is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Silva scoring with strikes but Wright is staying in there.
Silva can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Wright is looking to escape.
Wright tries to lock up and control but Silva gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wright can't escape the position.
Silva lands a big shot there that rocks Wright but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Silva cracks Wright with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

It looks like Clement Wright has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Silva is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Wright to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Wright shrugs it off.
Silva can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Wright is looking to escape.

Silva throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Wright because Silva loaded up on that one.
Silva is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Silva seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Wright does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Silva has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Wright tries to kick Silva off but Silva keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Silva has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Wright defend it? Silva steps over the head and cranks it - Wright is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Silva!
