Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Glen Starner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lukacz Belmont (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Belmont has chosen N.W.A - Appetite For Destruction as his entrance music. Lukacz Belmont has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

With a record of 28 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Glen Starner!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 30 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lukacz Belmont!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Patrick Alders and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Starner takes a jab right on the kisser.
Starner tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Belmont was well out of range. Poor timing from Starner.
Starner takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Starner walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Starner throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Belmont counters with a nice uppercut.
Belmont lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Belmont is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Starner scores with a hook to the body. Belmont takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Belmont takes a swing at Starner's ribcage but misses.
Starner throws the left hand but Belmont avoids the punch easily.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Belmont lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Starner has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Starner and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Starner wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Belmont, who protects the arm well.

That's time! Starner's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Belmont lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Starner circles away quickly and effectively.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Belmont counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Belmont throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Starner's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Belmont dives in looking to finish as Starner flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Belmont's strikes! Belmont is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Starner's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Starner was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
