Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shark Attack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ariel Piechocki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Piechocki has chosen Thunder as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Ariel Piechocki was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Shark Attack! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ariel Piechocki! The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Luis Engracia and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Piechocki changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Attack looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Piechocki wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Attack, who protects the arm well. Attack is not content to let Piechocki control the position. Attack is trying to get back to his feet. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Piechocki throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Attack wants to get back to his feet but Piechocki drags him back down.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Attack throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! Attack avoids a kick to the body.
Piechocki has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Attack is landing a low percentage of strikes. Ariel Piechocki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Attack avoids the head kick by Piechocki.
Piechocki lands a lovely overhand right.
It looks like Shark Attack has been cut. Attack steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Piechocki. Attack tries to counter by clinching up but Piechocki breaks away and moves out of range. Piechocki misses with an attempted mid kick.
Piechocki fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Attack sprawls well initially but Piechocki persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Piechocki missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Piechocki tries to stand and escape but Attack actually recovers to full guard. Piechocki wants to control from the top but Attack keeps moving. Piechocki looking to sit in guard and control but Attack gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's two minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Piechocki not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Attack throws a strike but Piechocki rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Attack keeping moving, preventing Piechocki from controlling successfully. Attack seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission. Piechocki wants to stand and escape but instead Attack has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Attack throws a big elbow that misses. Attack pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Piechocki is keeping the position for now. Piechocki is looking to stand up but Attack isn't so interested in that idea.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Attack throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Piechocki trying to keep a closed guard but Attack is proving a slippery customer.
Attack throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Piechocki works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Attack works a leg free and moves into half guard. Attack drops an elbow to the side of Piechocki's head. Attack thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Attack slips a nice elbow through Piechocki's hands, connecting with Piechocki's forehead. Attack is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Attack throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Attack lands with a punch from half guard. Attack looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Piechocki is trying to get back to full guard. Attack not landing any meaningful shots this time. Piechocki is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Attack scores with a couple of nice shots. Attack is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Piechocki wants to control but Attack is keeping busy.
Attack wants to work for an arm triangle but Piechocki is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Attack missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Shark Attack will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Shark Attack's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Piechocki looks to score with a jab to the body but Attack is just out of range. Attack tries to counter by clinching up but Piechocki breaks away and moves out of range. Piechocki throws a combination that misses and Attack counters by moving into the clinch. Piechocki blocks an elbow strike from Attack.
Piechocki is trying to push Attack away but Attack has him pressed against the ropes, so he's going nowhere. Attack keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Piechocki's efforts to push away. Attack prevents Piechocki from breaking the clinch. Attack scores with a shot to the side of Piechocki's head. Piechocki tries to break the clinch but Attack is controlling the position. Attack lands a body punch. A short uppercut from Attack. Attack floors Piechocki with a big punch on the inside! Piechocki is trying to recover but Attack dives into side control.
Piechocki is rocked!
It looks like Ariel Piechocki has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Attack is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Piechocki knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Piechocki is still in real trouble! Can Attack finish him? Shark Attack overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Piechocki struggling a bit here. Attack scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Piechocki is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Attack can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Shark Attack! Jumping up and down and very excited, Shark Attack waved his t-shirt featuring Museum of Monsters & Madmen's logo in front of the cameras.
