Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Randy Randall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jigoro Schwager (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Randall misses.
Schwager takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Schwager tries to clinch there but Randall circles away.
Randall feints and as Schwager raises his hands in defense, Randall changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Randall forces his way into half guard.
Randall blocks the strikes from Schwager.
Randall is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Schwager doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Randall.
Randall is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Schwager sees it coming and defends easily.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Randall wants to work for an arm triangle but Schwager is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Randall in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Schwager tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Randall!
