Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jordan Ellis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Detangelo Harmeski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jordan Ellis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Detangelo Harmeski! The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Daniel Franklin and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ellis tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Harmeski tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ellis swivels and escapes. Ellis misses with a looping left. Ellis throws a good cross that connects.
Ellis slaps away a takedown attempt from Harmeski, before circling back to the center of the mat. It looked like Ellis wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Harmeski looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Jordan Ellis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Detangelo Harmeski. Ellis throws a right hand that Harmeski ducks under and follows up with a left that Harmeski also avoids with ease. Ellis avoids the head kick by Harmeski.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A jab from Ellis finds it's way through Harmeski's defenses. Ellis forces Harmeski back against the cage and clinches. Ellis tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Harmeski's elbow. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Ellis lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ellis lands an elbow inside that Harmeski shrugs off.
It looks like Detangelo Harmeski has been cut. Ellis lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Harmeski is rocked! Ellis creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Harmeski's defenses. Harmeski is still on wobbly legs! Can Ellis finish him? Ellis slows down the pace here.
Ellis definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Ellis struggles to land a body shot inside as Harmeski controls his hands.
Harmeski seems to have recovered his senses. Ellis lands an elbow inside. Ellis lands a damaging elbow. Ellis lands an elbow that stopped Harmeski in his tracks for a moment. Ellis breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Decent striking displayed by Ellis there. Ellis lands a head shot. This has been an exciting period of action! Ellis drives through and clinches with Harmeski against the cage.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Ellis. Clinched against the cage, Ellis lands a big elbow that drops Harmeski! The ref dives in to save him from more shots - Harmeski is complaining that he's OK but he was done.
