Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Manvel Gamburyan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyle Dillashaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Manvel Gamburyan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kyle Dillashaw!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Richard Clark and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dillashaw gets caught napping as Gamburyan dives in and scores a takedown. Dillashaw manages to retain guard.
Dillashaw keeping moving, preventing Gamburyan from controlling successfully.
Gamburyan preventing the sweep.
Gamburyan wants to control from the top but Dillashaw keeps moving.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gamburyan trying to move into half guard but instead Dillashaw has managed to sweep!


Gamburyan looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Dillashaw passes into half guard.
Dillashaw wants to control but Gamburyan is keeping him busy.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Gamburyan is trying to control but can't.

Dillashaw is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Gamburyan sees it coming and defends easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dillashaw stops Gamburyan from getting back to his feet.
Gamburyan trying to control here.
Dillashaw throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
It looks like Dillashaw is going to stand back up.
Dillashaw trying to control the action but Gamburyan is working from the bottom.

Gamburyan is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Dillashaw pulls his head out easily.
Dillashaw is looking to take a break and control but Gamburyan is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Gamburyan looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Gamburyan drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Gamburyan working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
You can see the frustration on Dillashaw's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Gamburyan is trying to get an arm triangle but Dillashaw is defending well.

Gamburyan is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Dillashaw has escaped the position, nice work there.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Gamburyan swings around for an armbar but Dillashaw sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Gamburyan's guard.

Gamburyan looking for subs off his back but Dillashaw has passed one foot through into half guard.
Dillashaw passes into side control, despite Gamburyan's attempt to control the position.
Dillashaw wants to control but Gamburyan is keeping him busy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Gamburyan is trying to work for a sweep but Dillashaw has mounted him!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Kyle Dillashaw will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Dillashaw throws a left and a right that both miss

and Gamburyan counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Gamburyan.
Dillashaw wants to get back to his feet but Gamburyan is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Manvel Gamburyan overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Gamburyan wants to pass the guard but Dillashaw is keeping the position.

Dillashaw has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Gamburyan doesn't defend quickly enough and Dillashaw has managed to lock this one up! Can Gamburyan escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Dillashaw on a fantastic submission victory.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:39 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Kyle Dillashaw!
In defeat, Manvel Gamburyan stepped up to the mic, saying 'Sorry guys !'.
