Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Elinaftali Nascimento (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocky Armstrong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Elinaftali Nascimento!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Rocky Armstrong!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Bart Greer and David Hoff.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Armstrong scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Armstrong lands a few punches from side control.
Armstrong trying to control the position but Nascimento is working away.

Armstrong working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Armstrong is trying to move to mount but Nascimento reverses beautifully and ends up in Armstrong's guard.
Nascimento will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Armstrong throwing strikes off his back to little effect.

Armstrong tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Armstrong trying to control the position.

Armstrong working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Nascimento has passed into half guard!

Nascimento gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Elinaftali Nascimento is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Nascimento doesn't manage to clinch there - Armstrong circles away.
Armstrong raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Nascimento shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Armstrong eats them both and turns towards Nascimento to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

It looks like Rocky Armstrong has been cut.
Good leg kick by Nascimento there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Armstrong tries a head kick but it misses.

Armstrong drives through and clinches with Nascimento against the cage.
Nascimento lands a right hand.

Nascimento breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Armstrong throws a wild hook but Nascimento just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Armstrong gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Nascimento raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
