Tinio kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Vienna. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tinio stuffs the takedown attempt from Eller. Eller gets slowly back to his feet. Sims Eller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tinio stuffs the takedown. Eller closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Tinio is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Tinio is trying to improve his position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Eller tries for a kimura but Tinio is defending well. Tinio is trying to control Eller's posture but Eller avoids it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Eller passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Tinio!
That's one minute gone in the round. Tinio is trying desperately to improve position. Eller should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Tinio is squirming around, avoiding Eller's attempts to control the action. Eller throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Tinio because Eller loaded up on that one. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Eller working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Tinio bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Eller keeping moving, preventing Tinio from controlling successfully. Tinio is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Eller is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Eller is trying to control the position from the bottom.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Eller has eaten all the pies!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Tinio avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Eller is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Eller doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Tinio trying to control the position from guard on top but Eller is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Eller has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Tinio can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Eller looks gassed! Tinio passes into half guard. Eller looking for submissions off his back. Tinio is tying to control. Eller wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Eller looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Tinio works his way into full mount! Tinio looking to isolate an arm here. Eller doesn't see it coming and as Tinio extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Tinio!
