The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hansen shoots for a double leg takedown but Ferguson sprawls well. He's pushed Hansen's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Ferguson moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
It looks like Jens Hansen has been cut.
A punch combination from Ferguson misses.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Hansen.
Hansen throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Hansen throws an elbow but Ferguson slips to the side and avoids it well.

Hansen is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Ferguson is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Hansen is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Ferguson is trying to escape and Hansen transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Ferguson is forced to tap! Nice work there by Hansen! Very nice indeed!
