Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Luca Turilli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luivel Romero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Turilli's entrance music is krolithika. A fine choice. Romero has chosen Don Omar - Danza Kuduro ft. Lucenzo as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
27 - 17 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Luca Turilli! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
34 - 17 - 2, fighting out of Amsterdam, Luivel Romero! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Donald Grub and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ouch! a nice leg kick from Turilli, right into the meat.
Romero checks the leg kick nicely there.
Turilli works the jab nicely. Turilli feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Romero sprawling to the canvas! Romero rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Turilli finish him?!
Romero is rocked!
It looks like Luivel Romero has been cut. Turilli throws a series of punches but Romero avoids them all with ease. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Romero checks a leg kick nicely. Turilli misses with a left hand and Romero counters with a thumping low kick. Turilli misses with a double jab.
Nice body kick there by Romero. No joy there for Turilli, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Turilli has been working on his boxing with his coaches at KAMOT-E 4.5* sparring gym in the buildup to the fight. Romero tries to land a front kick but Turilli steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Some wild striking there from Turilli.
Romero let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Romero throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Turilli's head.
It looks like Luca Turilli has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Romero throws a chopping leg kick but Turilli manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Turilli throws out a leg kick but Romero moves out of range and Turilli only half commits. Nice straight punches there by Romero. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Romero. Romero feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Turilli's calf. Turilli connects with a solid leg kick. Romero throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Turilli sees it coming and avoids it easily. Romero ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Turilli scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Romero is still on wobbly legs! Can Turilli finish him? Turilli ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Romero moves away. Romero seems to have recovered his senses. Romero scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Turilli misses with a looping right. Turilli misses with a leg kick and Romero counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Romero being controlled here momentarily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Turilli trying to keep a closed guard but Romero is proving a slippery customer.

That's three minutes gone in the round. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Turilli jabs Romero to the body, keeping him at a distance. No joy there for Turilli, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Romero misses with a low kick. Romero moves out of range as Turilli strikes. Romero is looking to slow Turilli down with leg kicks.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Turilli connects with an inside leg kick. Turilli walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Romero checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. A big right from Turilli misses. Romero misses with a low kick.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Romero doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Romero throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Luca Turilli's cut is getting worse. Romero keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
A nice side step and Romero releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Romero takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Luca Turilli dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Romero uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Turilli.
Romero looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it. A bone on bone clash there as Romero blocks the leg kick.
Turilli does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Turilli misses the jab. Romero throws out a counter right but Turilli avoids it with no problem. Turilli lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Turilli swings away with a leg kick that misses. Decent striking displayed by Turilli there. Turilli fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Romero manages to avoid it. Romero thinks about the counter body kick. Romero uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Turilli. Romero now looks to counter with a shot at the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Romero misses with a looping right. Turilli looks to land a combination but Romero avoids it well. Turilli throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
A punch lands to the side of Romero 's head but he takes it in his stride. Luca Turilli is winning the standup battle so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Romero slips under a jab. Turilli uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Romero with a jab. Romero uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Turilli. Romero is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Romero motions for Turilli to come forward. Romero throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Turilli takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Romero blocks a jab. Romero pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Turilli wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Romero connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Luca Turilli seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Romero takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
That has opened up Luivel Romero's cut even more. Turilli misses with a body shot.
Romero tries to work over Turilli's front leg with a kick but Turilli checks it. Turilli is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Romero can do to turn this around? Romero checks the leg kick nicely there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A nice leg kick lands there from Turilli. Luca Turilli is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. A leg kick checked by Romero. Turilli lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Turilli steps in with a hook that catches Romero right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Turilli follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Romero looks absolutely devastated.
