Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Uncle Bob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nathan Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bob comes to the cage accompanied by Body Count's in the house. Jones has chosen Kid Rock - Cocky as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Uncle Bob! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nathan Jones! The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bob moves forwards but Jones connects with a nice, crisp jab. Jones gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Bob to score an easy takedown into full guard. Bob stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jones swivels though and keeps the full guard. Bob works a leg free and moves into half guard. Jones trying to control from the bottom.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jones can do anything to dispel that myth. Jones might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Bob haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Bob seems to be working for a kimura but Jones defends the submission attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bob is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Jones sees it coming and defends easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bob working the head and body with strikes. Jones is not content to let Bob control the position. Jones is looking to control Bob's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Jones avoid being mounted? Jones lands a couple of sideways elbows. Jones missing with punches from the bottom.
Bob throwing shots but Jones is blocking nicely. Jones wants to improve his position but Bob is controlling well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Bob is looking for a kimura but Jones is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Bob to get the leverage. Jones is looking to escape. Jones is staying active underneath Bob, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Jones thuds his right hand into Bob's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Bob. Jones throws out a loose jab but Bob uses good head movement to avoid it. Bob throws a nice looking combination but Jones bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Jones looks to land a left hand but Bob moved out of range nicely. Jones throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Bob tries to clinch but Jones moves out of range. Jones looks like he wants to counter punch here. Bob fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Bob shoots for a double leg takedown but Jones sprawls well. He's pushed Bob's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Uncle Bob. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bob is breathing heavily. A slapping leg kick lands for Jones.
Nice uppercut there from Jones. Bob gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Jones sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Bob's defenses. It connects perfectly with Bob's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Nathan Jones! During a confident post fight interview, Nathan Jones thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
