Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jake LaMotta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tonothan Kuhula (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kuhula has chosen Native Drums from the South Pacific as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

13 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tonothan Kuhula!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Wesley Smith and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kuhula slips a straight right by LaMotta.
Kuhula throws the left hand but LaMotta avoids the punch easily.
Kuhula lands a left and a right that send LaMotta crashing to the mat, dazed. Kuhula thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Jake LaMotta has been cut.
The fighters circling - Kuhula throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
A quick step to the side and LaMotta tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kuhula has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
LaMotta misses with an uppercut.
LaMotta takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Tonothan Kuhula seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A punch combination from Kuhula misses.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kuhula moves out of range as LaMotta strikes.
LaMotta throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Kuhula counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Kuhula scores with a punch to the head.
Kuhula misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from LaMotta.
LaMotta closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Jake LaMotta's cut is getting worse.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Kuhula.
Kuhula will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kuhula throws a body shot but no joy.
Kuhula misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
LaMotta moves out of range of the strikes.
A chopping leg kick lands by LaMotta.
LaMotta slips under a jab from Kuhula.
LaMotta just misses with a punch to the body.
A jab from Kuhula misses.
Kuhula lands with a straight right. LaMotta didn't see that one coming.
LaMotta takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Kuhula misses with a wild body shot.
Kuhula shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has LaMotta pinned against the cage. LaMotta gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Kuhula throws a left and a right that both miss
and LaMotta counters with a nice body kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
LaMotta keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Kuhula.
LaMotta throws a lazy uppercut
and Kuhula cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kuhula misses the shot to the body.
Kuhula on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by LaMotta. LaMotta obviously looking to wear him down.
Oooooh!!! LaMotta has knocked Kuhula down with a huge combo! LaMotta steps away and waves a wobbly Kuhula back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
It looks like Tonothan Kuhula has been cut.
LaMotta stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and LaMotta wants it to stay on the feet.
Jake LaMotta has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tonothan Kuhula.
Kuhula looks winded!
Kuhula misses with a combination
enabling LaMotta to counter with a crisp jab.
LaMotta lands with a big right hook that stumbles Kuhula - he's out on his feet here! LaMotta follows up with another monster hook that separates Kuhula from consciousness! Kuhula falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! LaMotta stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Jake LaMotta!
After the fight, Jake LaMotta was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
