Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Black Coleman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mata Hughes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Black Coleman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mata Hughes! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Daniel Franklin and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hughes fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Coleman misses with a combination
and Hughes counters with a single leg into guard. Coleman didn't expect that. Coleman seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission. Hughes trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Coleman pushes Hughes off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Coleman looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Coleman forces Hughes back against the cage and clinches. Hughes prevents a takedown attempt there.
Coleman changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Hughes fights it off and pushes away nicely.

That's one minute gone in the round. Coleman fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Hughes to the ground. Coleman is now in Hughes's guard. Hughes is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Coleman manages to escape and get back to his feet! Hughes tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Coleman swivels and escapes. Coleman tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Hughes defends well and Coleman ends up having to push Hughes into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Coleman wants to land a leg kick but Hughes is out of range. Hughes is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Coleman shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hughes wants to get back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hughes wants to control but Coleman is keeping busy and won't allow it. Coleman seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Hughes does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Hughes trying to hold on to Coleman's head to control him but Coleman postures up.
Coleman looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Hughes with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Coleman lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Hughes is trying to control but can't.
Coleman perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Hughes is looking for a sweep. Coleman is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Coleman thows a huge punch but Hughes dodges it nicely.
The fighters are battling for position here. Hughes manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Hughes trying to keep a closed guard but Coleman is proving a slippery customer.
Hughes might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Coleman haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hughes tries to land a sweep but no joy. Coleman works over Hughes with some ground and pound from guard. Hughes has control of Coleman's left arm, preventing Coleman from doing any damage. Hughes looking to control.
Coleman connects with a couple of short punches. Coleman cracks Hughes with a solid left hand. Coleman controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Coleman postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Coleman is pushing down on Hughes's leg trying to pass to half guard. Hughes is fighting to maintain full guard but Coleman has managed to sneak the leg through. Hughes keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Hughes has a hand on Coleman's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Coleman takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Hughes can't escape the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hughes tries to lock up and control but Coleman gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Hughes bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Hughes got a little sloppy there for a moment and Coleman has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hughes has managed to get both his arms back between Coleman's legs - danger averted. Coleman is adopting a defensive guard. Coleman is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Hughes is controlling him. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hughes throws a strike but Coleman rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hughes is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Hughes is trying to control the position from the bottom.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Coleman working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hughes doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hughes manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Coleman pushes Hughes away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Hughes gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Hughes controls the position from side control. Coleman is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Hughes can do to turn this around? Hughes creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Coleman sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Coleman tries to buck Hughes off but Hughes is having none of it. Check out the look on Hughes's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Coleman is looking to regain half guard here but Hughes keeps moving and retains side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mata Hughes showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
