Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bob Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Funk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Frank Dennis and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Funk misses with a takedown attempt - Evans sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Evans throws a right hand that Funk ducks under and follows up with a left that Funk also avoids with ease.

I looks like Funk might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

That was a close second round but I would say that Bob Evans will probably get the nod.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Evans has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Funk can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
