Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jorge Robinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryte Lye (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jorge Robinson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ryte Lye!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Paul Gruel and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robinson shoots in looking for a takedown but Lye manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Robinson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Lye steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Robinson.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Lye.
Robinson fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Lye darts in and clinches Robinson up against the cage.
Lye prevents a body shot from Robinson.
Robinson misses with a body punch.
Robinson throws a head punch that misses.
Robinson throws an elbow but it misses.
Robinson tries a body shot but Lye blocks it.
Lye manages to break the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lye closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Lye lands in his opponent's guard.

Robinson has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Lye has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Lye tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Robinson just stands there and leans against the cage.
Lye has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Robinson avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Jorge Robinson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ryte Lye.
Lye is trying to pull guard but Robinson turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Lye is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Robinson just misses with a elbow thrown towards Lye's brow.

Lye gets to his feet. Robinson looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Robinson tries for a takedown but Lye sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Lye will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Robinson went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Lye shoots in for a double leg but Robinson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Lye shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Lye was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Robinson is trying to control Lye's posture but Lye avoids it.
Lye decides to stand back up.
Lye dives in and grabs Robinson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Robinson pushes down on Lye's head and hops out.

and Robinson counters with a three punch combo that has Lye backing up. Lye nods at Robinson to acknowledge the strikes.
Robinson darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Robinson tries to stand and escape but Lye is controlling the position.
Lye tries to roll over but Robinson keeps him under control.
Lye wants to control but Robinson is keeping busy.
Robinson prevents Lye from standing back up.
Lye is defending against the submission attempts here by Robinson.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Lye slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Lye is on top in guard.
Robinson keeping moving, preventing Lye from controlling successfully.
Lye controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lye pushes Robinson up against the cage in a clinch.
Lye takes a shot to the head.
Robinson throws a head punch that misses.
Lye tries to pull guard but Robinson holds him up against the cage and eventually Lye drops back down to his feet.
Lye fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Robinson tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Lye's elbow.

Robinson pushes off an throws an elbow but Lye leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Lye has hold of one of Robinson's legs. Robinson is fighting the takedown attempt but Lye gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Robinson tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Lye stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Robinson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Lye lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Lye is looking to take a break and control but Robinson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Robinson is in trouble now - Lye has advanced to mount!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lye has hold of Robinson's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Robinson manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Robinson in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Robinson wants to control but Lye is having none of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lye lands a heavy elbow.

Lye throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Robinson has his hands clasped together but Lye breaks the hold and Robinson is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Lye!
