Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hoyt Flarkgaard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johny Baker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johny Baker is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Hoyt Flarkgaard!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
17 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Johny Baker!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Anni Minnemäki and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flarkgaard connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
It looks like Johny Baker has been cut.
Baker throws a half hearted mid kick.
Baker looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Flarkgaard throwing a counter right hand but Baker manages to avoid it.
A combination from Baker does no damage.
Sloppy strikes from Flarkgaard. Those never looked like landing.
Baker swinging wildly here.
Flarkgaard misses with a double jab
and Baker counters with a nice uppercut.
Flarkgaard wants to clinch.
As Flarkgaard backs off Baker throws a huge counter combo but Flarkgaard manages to avoid it all.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Flarkgaard lands with a hook. Baker tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Baker has taken the fight to the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Flarkgaard wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Baker has him pressed against the cage.
Flarkgaard is trying to force a seperation but Baker has the dominant position.
Baker breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Baker keeps the fight on the outside.
A bone on bone clash there as Flarkgaard blocks the leg kick.
Baker moves into the clinch successfully.
Baker pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
A lazy body kick from Baker
and Flarkgaard counters with a left to the body.
Flarkgaard uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Baker.
Flarkgaard waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Baker.
Baker takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Baker throws out a loose jab but Flarkgaard uses good head movement to avoid it.
Flarkgaard misses with the combination.
Baker throws a push kick but Flarkgaard slaps the foot to one side.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Baker throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Flarkgaard counters with a leg kick then a big left hand that sends Baker down! Flarkgaard is looking to finish but Baker is intelligently defending himself.
Baker is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Flarkgaard working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Baker is still in real trouble! Can Flarkgaard finish him?
Baker has his foot on Flarkgaard's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Flarkgaard works his way back into a safe position though.
Baker is looking to stand up but Flarkgaard isn't so interested in that idea.
Baker avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Baker pushes Flarkgaard off and scrambles back to his feet.
Baker seems to have recovered his senses.
Baker swinging wildly here.
Flarkgaard steps into range and cracks Baker with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Baker flops backwards and Flarkgaard dives into his guard looking to finish!
Flarkgaard trying to control the position from guard on top but Baker is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Flarkgaard missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Baker keeping moving, preventing Flarkgaard from controlling successfully.
Flarkgaard content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Flarkgaard trying to control but Baker is working from the bottom.
Baker is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Flarkgaard is controlling him.
Flarkgaard stands and throws Baker's legs to the side, diving into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Flarkgaard trying to control the position but Baker is working away.
Flarkgaard wants to stand but Baker is controlling his arm.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Baker is trying to control Flarkgaard's posture but Flarkgaard avoids it.
Baker is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Flarkgaard stands up.
Flarkgaard lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Flarkgaard throws a sloppy head kick and Baker moves out of range easily.
Baker throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Flarkgaard.
Flarkgaard avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Hoyt Flarkgaard will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Johny Baker's cut.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Baker misses with a body kick.
Baker closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Flarkgaard avoids a punch combination nicely.
Flarkgaard lands a nice looking body shot.
Baker scores with a nice strike.
Johny Baker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Baker looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Flarkgaard lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! Baker goes down and covers up as Flarkgaard starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:39 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hoyt Flarkgaard!
