The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanchez throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Garret.

Sanchez drops Garret with a beautiful combination! Garret stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Sanchez is looking for the KO!

Garret shoots in for a takedown but Sanchez shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Sanchez feints a jab promting Garret to slip. Sanchez then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Garret slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Ben Garret's cut is getting worse.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Garret avoids the head kick by Sanchez.
Garret tries to clinch but Sanchez moves out of range.
Sanchez stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Sanchez wants it to stay on the feet.
Garret is breathing heavily.
Garret walks into a stiff left hand from Sanchez.
Sanchez paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Garret is rocked!
BOOM! Sanchez lands a beautiful left hook that drops Garret. Garret tries to recover but Sanchez is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Garret lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
