The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haji throws a head kick but Jotko moves out of range.

Jotko is trying to trip Haji. He has hold of a leg but Haji is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Jotko persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jotko won't allow Haji to get back to his feet.
Jotko is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Jotko slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

That was a close round but I would say that Hani Haji will probably get the nod.
That's time! Haji's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Jotko swings around for an armbar but Haji sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Jotko's guard.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Krzysztof Jotko showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Jotko shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Haji as he avoids it easily.
Jotko changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Haji tries to avoid it but Jotko manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Haji to the ground. Haji escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Jotko flicks out a counter leg kick but Haji steps away.

and Haji counters with a left and a right that stings Jotko.
Haji avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Jotko tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Haji defends well and Jotko ends up having to push Haji into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Jotko will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
