Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lynn Duran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yalu Uma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lynn Duran! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Yalu Uma! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Yves DeLean and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Uma displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Duran. Uma darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Uma throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Uma wants to stand up but Duran is controlling the position.
Uma stalling. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Duran is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Uma jumps into side control!
That's one minute gone in the round. Uma controlling the position. Uma wants to stand but Duran is controlling his arm. Uma is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Duran will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Uma tries to stand but Duran is controlling his head. A control attempt from Duran but he's now mounted! Uma tries to get up but Duran was controlling his body and he's reversed into guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Uma is looking for a triangle but Duran pushes his legs off easily.
Duran trying to control the position from guard on top but Uma is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Duran wanted to stand there but Uma had control of the position. Uma is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Uma is continuing to stall. The adventures of Uma the control monster continue. Boring.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Duran tries to stand but Uma is controlling from the bottom. Duran postures up.
Uma really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Duran. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Uma pulls Duran in close to prevent any damage.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Uma scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Duran struggling a bit here. Uma tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Uma tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Uma has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Duran tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. Uma goes for an armbar but Duran turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Duran. Duran might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Uma looking to control.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Uma throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Yalu Uma dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Duran looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Duran misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Uma fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Duran sprawls well initially but Uma persists and gets the takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Duran trying to control but Uma postures up.
Uma working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Duran's thigh. Duran counters though and makes it back to full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Uma wants to pass the guard but Duran is keeping the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Uma is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Uma trying to control the position from guard on top but Duran is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Duran looking to control.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Uma lands with a slapping head kick.
It looks like Lynn Duran has been cut. Duran dives in for a single leg takedown but Uma sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lynn Duran. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fight moves into the clinch position. Duran tries a body shot but Uma blocks it.
Uma lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Duran misses with some punches.
Duran is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Uma to keep the fight standing. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Uma blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Uma is trying to break the clinch but Duran is controlling him. Uma jumps guard and drags Duran to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Uma has a closed guard, preventing Duran from standing up. Uma is trying to control the position but Duran postures up. Duran wants to stand but Uma is controlling his posture from full guard. Duran really is a fat lump. Uma has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Duran can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Uma tries to land a sweep but no joy. Uma trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Uma is trying to control the position from the bottom.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Uma is looking for a triangle here but Duran uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Uma gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Uma wants to control but Duran is keeping busy and won't allow it. Duran wants to work for an arm triangle but Uma is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Uma is positioning himself well to prevent Duran advancing to mount. Yalu Uma has got the better of the ground game so far. Uma looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Duran is looking for a kimura here.

Yalu Uma showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Lynn Duran's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Uma misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Uma throws a head kick that misses. Uma instigates a clinch. Uma throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

Uma controls Duran momentarily but Duran frees himself. Duran is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Uma is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Uma has escaped and now he's on top!

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Duran being controlled here, momentarily. Let's hope that Uma has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Uma must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Uma missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Duran keeping moving, preventing Uma from controlling successfully.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Duran gets caught flat footed, as Uma shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Uma pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Duran is keeping the position for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Uma trying to control but Duran is working from the bottom. Duran working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Uma. Duran has momentary wrist control but Uma slips an elbow through the middle. Uma drops back, looking for a kneebar! Duran looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Duran looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Duran! Uma struggling a bit here. Duran tries to stand but Uma is controlling his head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Uma sneaks back into half guard. Uma throws a strike from the bottom but Duran passes into side control!
Both fighters take a look at the clock. Uma is looking for a sweep. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Duran wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Uma, who protects the arm well. Lynn Duran has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Yalu Uma is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Uma wants to control but Duran postures up.
And that's the end of the fight! Yalu Uma comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Uma has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
