Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Judo Jim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johan Hansson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Judo Jim! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Johan Hansson! The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, David Hoff and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hansson gets a clinch. Hansson is trying to trip Jim. He has hold of a leg but Jim is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Hansson persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Hansson controlling from the top position. Jim controls Hansson momentarily but Hansson frees himself. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jim is working an open guard so Hansson takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Jim shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hansson as he jumps to the side.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jim fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Danga de danga de dang - Jim scores with a four punch combination! Jim tries to clinch but fails miserably and Hansson counters with a shoot takedown. Jim fights it but they end up in guard. Hansson controlling from the top position. Jim wants to hit a switch here but Hansson passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Jim there! Jim wants to control but Hansson is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jim keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Hansson controlling from mount. Jim wants to hold on but Hansson pushes him away. Hansson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Hansson is working for a guillotine from mount but Jim frees his head quite easily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jim keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hansson controlling from the full mount. Jim working to try and regain half guard.
Hansson controlling from mount. Hansson working Jim over with strikes here. Jim is controlling an arm, preventing Hansson from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Hansson looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Hansson frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Hansson takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Jim working to try and regain half guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Hansson controlling from the full mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hansson gets a takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hansson is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Hansson is looking to advance position but Jim won't allow it. That's one minute gone in the round. Jim tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Hansson presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Hansson is in the full mount, landing strikes. Hansson tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Let's hope that Hansson has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Hansson postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Jim looks a forlorn figure.
Jim tries to lock up and control but Hansson gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hansson controlling the pace for now. Hansson has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Jim is just holding on here. Hansson manages to take his back.
Hansson is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften Jim up.

That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee is taking a good look at Jim as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Hansson!
Jim is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
What can Jim do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

Jim is working hard here to advance position. You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hansson looking for the RNC. Hansson lands strikes to the head. Hansson working for the choke. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Hansson is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Jim is defending well though. Hansson let's go of the attempt for now. Johan Hansson has got the better of the ground game so far. Hansson lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Johan Hansson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Jim's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Jim, right into the meat.
Hansson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Hansson looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Jim throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

Hansson controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Hansson tries to work over Jim's front leg with a kick but Jim checks it. Jim tries to sprawl but Hansson drives through with a takedown into half guard. Hansson is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Hansson slows the pace down in half guard. Jim is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Hansson is taking a breather. Jim says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Hansson is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Jim doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Hansson.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jim is looking to escape. Jim is looking for a sweep. Hansson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Hansson not doing much here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Jim lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Jim moves in looking to clinch but Hansson pushes him off. Jim scores with a hook to the body. Hansson takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Jim misses with a combination
so Hansson counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Jim being controlled here, momentarily. Hansson stops Jim from standing up.
And that's the end of the fight! Johan Hansson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Hansson winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
