Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rude Moogle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and William King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Moogle might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Leprous - Dare You. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Moogle lands with a good body shot. Moogle moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Moogle is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by King. Moogle throws a lazy uppercut
and King counters with a nice body shot. King takes a shot to the body in his stride.
King throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Moogle half committed to a counter leg kick. King throws out a token jab with nothing on it. King avoids the body shot from Moogle.
Moogle swings for the body but King moves out of range.

King moves out of range as Moogle strikes. A countering left hand to the body from King misses. Moogle darts in trying to clinch and Moogle takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. King avoids the body shot from Moogle.
King lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
That's one minute gone in the round. Moogle connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed King momentarily.
King attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Moogle has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Ninjin no Tamanegi in the buildup to the fight. Rude Moogle is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Moogle takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Rude Moogle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Moogle shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. King shoots in for a takedown but Moogle shows good takedown defense. Moogle misses with a body shot.
Moogle takes a body punch but keeps moving. Moogle tries to clinch up. Moogle fakes high and swings low for a body shot but King manages to avoid it. Moogle is looking to wear down King with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. King looks to throw the jab but Moogle is out of range. Moogle moves into the clinch. King's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Decent striking displayed by King there. Nice body punch from King.

It looked like Moogle was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from King. King has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. King is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Moogle.
It looks like William King has been cut. Moogle throws a leg kick but King moved away. And King tries to counter it with a takedown but Moogle pushes his down on his head and steps out. A slow jab from King misses its intended target. Moogle lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Good leg kick by Moogle there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

King has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Moogle is looking for a sweep. King is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. That's one minute gone in the round. King tries to bum rush Moogle with a series of wild strikes but Moogle uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Moogle throws a quick inside leg kick. Moogle tries to close the distance and clinch but King swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Moogle misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from King.
King does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. King uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Moogle.

Moogle wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. King misses with a straight left. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Donk. Moogle catches King right on the button with a cross. and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. King looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. King takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Moogle is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground! Moogle avoiding damage under a succession of punches from King. King trying to mount his opponent but Moogle defends it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. King throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

King is nestled in close to Moogle, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. King thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Moogle is controlling King's position as best he can from this difficult position. King lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. King stalling. King looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Moogle with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. King not landing any meaningful shots this time. William King has got the better of the ground game so far. Moogle trying to control here.

King has hold of Moogle's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Moogle manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

King can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Moogle is looking to escape. A nice elbow there by King. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
William King showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on William King's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
King shoots in and gets a takedown into Moogle's guard. King has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Moogle is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Moogle working a defensive guard but King passes into half guard.
Moogle is concentrating on defense, preventing King from advancing position. King is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. King is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. King rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Moogle moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Moogle feints and then cracks King's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow King down. King fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Oh, that's a big right hand from King and Moogle goes tumbling to the canvas! King follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard. Oh Moogle is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

King seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Moogle does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Moogle is trying to control but can't.

That's four minutes gone in the round. King working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. King has control of an arm but Moogle manages to advance to King's back! Moogle struggling to land strikes to the head as King covers up. Moogle is looking to control King but King is wriggling around and keeping busy. Moogle patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. You can see the frustration on King's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
And that's the end of the fight! William King comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got King winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
