Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Zephyrus Belenus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jean Caisse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Zephyrus Belenus! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jean Caisse! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Gregory Folan and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Belenus scores with a punch to the head. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Caisse has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Caisse gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Caisse lands a body shot. Caisse misses with some punches.
Caisse has Belenus pushed against the cage. Belenus stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Belenus prevents a body shot from Caisse. Caisse misses with a shot to the kidneys.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Caisse. Belenus blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Caisse can't find room to land a body shot as Belenus controls the action.
Caisse stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Belenus struggles to land a body shot inside as Caisse controls his hands.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Caisse. Belenus is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Caisse is defending well for now. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Belenus blocking some punches.
We've been hearing reports that Belenus has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Belenus misses with a short punch on the inside. A short left from Belenus. Caisse throws a head punch that misses. Caisse gets underhooks to prevent Belenus's takedown attempt.
Belenus is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Caisse is defending well for now. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Belenus dodges an elbow strike from Caisse.
That's one minute gone in the round. Belenus is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. Belenus lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Caisse works on Belenus's body with a couple of short punches. Belenus lands a left hand.
Belenus tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Caisse misses with an elbow over the top. Caisse trying to control the position but instead, Belenus has worked for underhooks and has pushed Caisse into the cage. Caisse tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Caisse fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Belenus. Belenus makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Caisse. Belenus breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
No joy there for Caisse, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Caisse tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Belenus manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Belenus misses with a straight right. Belenus swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Caisse tries to clinch and Belenus counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Belenus connects with a crisp jab. Belenus wants to clinch up but Caisse keeps it at a distance. Caisse bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. You can see the frustration on Belenus's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Belenus managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Caisse.
Belenus struggling a bit here. Belenus gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Belenus is trying to control but can't.
Caisse throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Belenus gets full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Caisse postures up in Belenus's guard and throws a big left but Belenus blocks it. Belenus is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Belenus escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Caisse gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Belenus is trying to control the position but Caisse postures up. Caisse working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Belenus is looking for a triangle here but Caisse uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Caisse working the ground and pound. Belenus is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Caisse is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Caisse unloading with bombs! Caisse lands a big elbow.
Belenus is rocked!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Caisse drops a big elbow. That's hurt Belenus! More shots from Caisse and the ref steps in! The fight is over!
