Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kjell Dillon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ladislav Hemsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dillon comes into the arena with Pipes & Drums 1st Battalion Scots Guards blaring out of the sound system. Hemsky has chosen Onward to Victory as his entrance music. Kjell Dillon has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
35 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kjell Dillon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
25 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ladislav Hemsky! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Alec Ball and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dillon lands with a kick to the temple. Hemsky shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Hemsky throws a good cross that connects.
Dillon keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Dillon throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Hemsky walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Dillon checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Hemsky throws a body punch but Dillon moves out of range. Dillon takes a swing at Hemsky's ribcage but misses. Hemsky ducks under a wild hook from Dillon. The fighters circling - Hemsky throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Dillon looks to land a left hand but Hemsky moved out of range nicely. Hemsky misses with a hook. Dillon displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Hemsky throws out the jab. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hemsky staying out of range there. Dillon scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Hemsky scores with a punch to the head. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Dillon uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Hemsky. Hemsky with a nice cross.

Hemsky checks a low kick from Dillon. Dillon throws the kick towards the body but Hemsky avoids it. Dillon throws a hook to the side of Hemsky's head but Hemsky sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Dillon darts in looking for a takedown but Hemsky gets double underhooks and turns Dillon into the cage. Dillon catches Hemsky with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Hemsky connects with a nice looking jab.
Hemsky uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Dillon. Hemsky takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Hemsky lands a body shot.
Hemsky lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Hemsky throws a hook but Dillon blocks it. Dillon tests Hemsky's chin there with a solid looking shot. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hemsky on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Dillon. Dillon obviously looking to wear him down.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nice shot by Hemsky. Dillon needs to keep his hands up - Hemsky had a free shot at his head there. Good standup being displayed there by Hemsky as he connects with a hook. Hemsky looks to land a left hand but Dillon moved out of range nicely. Hemsky scores with a one two! Dillon had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
It looks like Kjell Dillon has been cut. Hemsky steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Dillon. Dillon throws a shot from downtown. Hemsky moves away and avoids it. Dillon throws a good cross that connects.

Hemsky has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off. Nice jab there from Hemsky. Hemsky throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Dillon counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Hemsky misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Dillon.
Dillon appears to be looking for a big counter. Dillon slips a straight right by Hemsky. Dillon was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Good shot there by Hemsky. Dillon misses with a wild combination.
Dillon ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Dillon walks into a left hand. Hemsky scores with a shot to the body.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hemsky with a hook. Hemsky is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Dillon had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Dillon is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Dillon drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Hemsky gets the underhooks and prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kjell Dillon. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hemsky trying to land knees to the body.
Dillon has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Hemsky is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Dillon drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hemsky prevents a takedown attempt there.

Hemsky has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Dillon uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hemsky.

Hemsky connects with a body shot that sends Dillon's belly button to the back. Hemsky gets in close and instigates a clinch. Hemsky is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. Hemsky lands a right hand that snaps the head of Dillon backwards. Hemsky gets underhooks to prevent Dillon's takedown attempt.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Dillon is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Hemsky pulls him back up using the underhooks. Nice body punch from Hemsky - that landed with a thud.

Hemsky digs a right hand into Dillon's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Dillon's gas tank. Hemsky stops a takedown attempt from Dillon.

A quick uppercut on the inside from Hemsky. Hemsky is fighting off a takedown attempt but Dillon is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Hemsky to the mat. Hemsky regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Hemsky looking to hit a scissor sweep but Dillon is one step ahead there. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dillon working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hemsky manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Dillon manages to get himself to full guard.
Hemsky must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Hemsky wants to stand but Dillon has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Dillon looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hemsky is one step ahead there. Hemsky trying to stand up but can't free himself from Dillon's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Hemsky is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Hemsky avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Hemsky has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Dillon is proving hard to escape from.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Dillon lands with a slapping head kick. Dillon looks for the body kick but Hemsky saw that one coming. Dillon walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Dillon keeps the fight on the outside. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A big left from Hemsky misses. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Hemsky. Dillon shrugs it off though. Hemsky wants to clinch but Dillon slips to the side and Dillon counters with a solid body kick. Hemsky misses with a series of wild punches.

Hemsky misses with a looping right. Nice body punch from Hemsky. Hemsky ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Dillon throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Nice defenses there by Hemsky. Dillon walks into a stiff left hand from Hemsky. Dillon on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Hemsky connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Dillon keeps the fight on the outside. Hemsky clinches. Dillon is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Hemsky is defending well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kjell Dillon. That's going to take a lot out of him. Still in the clinch, Hemsky scores with a nice short uppercut. Hemsky trying to stall but Dillon improves his position.

and Dillon counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Hemsky instigates a clinch. Hemsky pushes Dillon back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Dillon can't get the takedown.

Hemsky lands with a cross. Dillon doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Kjell Dillon has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Hemsky comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Hemsky connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Hemsky closes the distance and pushes Dillon back into the cage. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hemsky scores with a shoulder strike. A short right from Hemsky. Dillon tries to break the clinch but Hemsky is controlling the position. Dillon tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
And that's the end of the fight! Ladislav Hemsky comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Hemsky winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Ladislav Hemsky! Ladislav Hemsky really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Hell's Balls Recovery (160) logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty. In defeat, Kjell Dillon stepped up to the mic, saying 'i didnt manage to perform how i wanted to night but ehh...i´ll be back...i´ll be back.'.
