Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sword shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Sword showed some decent athleticism there.
Petersson looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Petersson throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Sword looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Still in half guard, Sword seems content to control.
Sword is pressing down on Petersson's thigh, looking to free his foot. Petersson is holding on for now.
Sword drops an elbow to the side of Petersson's head.
Petersson is trying to stand back up but Sword is controlling him
Sword slips a nice elbow through Petersson's hands, connecting with Petersson's forehead.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sword looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Sword stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Sword clinches up with Petersson and pushes him back against the cage.

Sword drags the fight down to the ground.
Petersson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Sword wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Sword is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Sword content to control rather than advance.
Let's hope that Sword has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Despite being in the dominant position, David Sword just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Sword looks for a takedown but Petersson sprawls well.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
