Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rufus Lockheart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lockheart comes to the cage accompanied by Gojira - Ocean Planet. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Santiago Holmes and Michael Johnstone.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lockheart moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
We've been told by Lockheart's head coaches at Golden Gym 9 Elite Coachs that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Lockheart looks to land a left hand but Smith moved out of range nicely.
Smith connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Lockheart loads up on a big right hand but Smith slips the punch.
Lockheart blocks a jab.
Lockheart throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Lockheart tries to close the distance and clinch but Smith swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Lockheart scores with a jab to the head.
Lockheart on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Lockheart works the jab nicely.
Lockheart missing with a left hand there. Smith was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Smith gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Nice jab there from Lockheart.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Smith on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Smith looks to score with a jab to the body but Lockheart is just out of range.

Lockheart closes the distance and clinches.
Smith blocks an uppercut.

Lockheart throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Smiths head.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Lockheart.
Lockheart is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Lockheart fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Smith jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Lockheart walks away with a smile on his face. Smith gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
The fighters circling - Smith throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Smith thows a left - swing and a miss!

Lockheart clinches.
Lockheart swings wildly with an uppercut but Smith uses good head movement to avoid it.
Lockheart lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Lockheart throws a head punch that misses.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Lockheart swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Smith manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Smith is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Lockheart defends well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Smith has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Lockheart doesn't defend quickly enough and Smith has managed to lock this one up! Can Lockheart escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Smith on a fantastic submission victory.
