Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Adrian Stokes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Captain Carolean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carolean has chosen Visa Från Utanmyra as his entrance music. Captain Carolean has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Adrian Stokes! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Captain Carolean! The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, John Roberts and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carolean falls off balance throwing a combination
and Stokes counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Stokes is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Carolean sees it coming and defends easily. Stokes thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Carolean is holding on to half guard well. Carolean wants to get back to full guard. Stokes throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Carolean is looking for a sweep. Stokes is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Stokes thows a huge punch but Carolean dodges it nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Stokes is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Carolean doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Stokes. Carolean is refusing to be controlled, as Stokes sits in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stokes not landing any meaningful shots this time. Carolean wants to get back to full guard. Carolean is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Carolean really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Stokes. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Stokes wants to lay and pray for a moment but Carolean keeps working.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Carolean throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Stokes changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Carolean connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Stokes momentarily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stokes scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Carolean is looking for a sweep. Carolean is not content to let Stokes control the position. Stokes is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Carolean knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Carolean dodges the ground and pound from Stokes. Carolean wants to control but Stokes postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Carolean holds on tight, trying to prevent any damage. Stokes misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Carolean is looking to regain half guard here but Stokes keeps moving and retains side control. Stokes is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Carolean is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Stokes is looking to take a break and control but Carolean is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Stokes tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Stokes wants to lay and pray for a moment but Carolean keeps working.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Carolean takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Stokes is looking to take a break and control but Carolean is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Carolean tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Stokes wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. We've been informed that Carolean has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Stokes in side control, throwing shots but Carolean defends. Carolean struggling a bit here. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Stokes swings around for an armbar but Carolean sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Stokes's guard. Carolean wants to stand but Stokes is controlling his posture from full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Adrian Stokes dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Carolean scores with a crisp jab that stopped Stokes in his tracks. Carolean drops Stokes with a left and a right! Oh, Stokes is hurt - Carolean dives into side control looking to finish!
Stokes is rocked!
It looks like Adrian Stokes has been cut. Stokes wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Oh Stokes is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Carolean tries to stand but Stokes is controlling his head. Carolean cracks Stokes with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Carolean immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Stokes is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Carolean!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:41 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Captain Carolean! As Captain Carolean got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: Winning starts with a happy stomach, now lets feast!'.
