Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Gregory House! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Real Dragon! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Sosuke Kotani and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dragon shoots for a takedown but House saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. House looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Dragon shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts House as he jumps to the side. Dragon tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. House fails to land with a series of punches.
Dragon tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but House swivels and escapes. Gregory House has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Real Dragon. Some bone on bone action there as Dragon checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. House misses with a series of wild punches.
Dragon shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has House pinned against the cage. House gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Dragon looks for a takedown but House sprawls well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dragon throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. House takes a swing at Dragon's ribcage but misses. House is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Dragon doesn't manage to clinch there - House circles away.
Dragon shoots in for a takedown but House shows good takedown defense. House gets the takedown into side control. Dragon can't do much from the bottom here. House wants to control for a moment but Dragon uses the opportunity to move back to half guard. Dragon seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but House does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dragon passes the guard and advances to mount! Dragon looking to control but House is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. House is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Dragon is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. House can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
House is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Dragon locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! House is forced to tap!
