Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Frank Hammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Igor Wietrzny (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hammer's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, We are the Champions. Wietrzny has chosen Hunter-Fallen as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Frank Hammer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
17 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Igor Wietrzny! The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Darius Henderson and Ben Watson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wietrzny throws a poor cross that misses
and Hammer counters with a nice double leg into side control. Wietrzny won't be happy with that. Hammer trying to control the position but Wietrzny is working away. Wietrzny is trying to get back to his feet. You can see the frustration on Wietrzny's face as Hammer controls the position. Wietrzny wants to get back to his feet but Hammer drags him back down. Wietrzny is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Hammer trying to control the position but Wietrzny is working away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wietrzny is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Hammer asserts his dominance and retains side control.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hammer changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Wietrzny looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Wietrzny is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Hammer working away. Wietrzny is looking to get back to his feet here but Hammer is keeping cool and he's managed to take Wietrzny's back. Will Hammer go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wietrzny is trying to break free.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wietrzny is trying to stand back up. Wietrzny covering up well under a series of strikes from Hammer. Wietrzny is trying to get back to his feet but Hammer has full control of the position and if anything, Wietrzny has just worked his way into a worse spot. Hammer misses with an elbow to the head. Hammer throwing strikes and Wietrzny squirms under the pressure, ending up mounted.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wietrzny tries to lock up and control but Hammer gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Hammer scores with a couple of good head shots there.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Wietrzny is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Wietrzny wants to hold on but Hammer pushes him away. Wietrzny is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

Hammer landing strikes from the mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wietrzny is looking to improve his position but Hammer isn't that keen on the idea.

Hammer lands with some strikes. Hammer has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Hammer lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Wietrzny wants to hold on but Hammer pushes him away. Wietrzny somehow manages to escape the mount and get back to his feet! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Wietrzny loads up on a big right hand but Hammer slips the punch. Hammer attempts a counter takedown but Wietrzny avoids it well and moves away. Hammer swings for the body but Wietrzny moves out of range.
A big right from Hammer misses. Wietrzny closes the distance and lands a one-two. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hammer misses with a hook. Wietrzny tries to close the distance and clinch but Hammer swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Wietrzny tries to clinch but fails miserably and Hammer counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Wietrzny! Hammer working the body and head with strikes. Wietrzny wants to get back to his feet but Hammer drags him back down. You can see the frustration on Wietrzny's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Wietrzny is trying to buck Hammer off. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hammer misses with the ground and pound. Wietrzny tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wietrzny tries to hold on but Hammer pushes him away. Hammer looking to control but Wietrzny is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Hammer lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Wietrzny hang on? Hammer wants to control the pace but Wietrzny is squirming around nicely. Wietrzny is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Wietrzny prevents any damage by holding on tight. Hammer dominating with strikes here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wietrzny is squirming around, avoiding Hammer's attempts to control the action. Wietrzny keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Wietrzny slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Wietrzny manages to escape and get back to his feet! Hammer looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Hammer in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Wietrzny tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Hammer!
