Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Drew Petrie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oleg Kriznov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Oleg Kriznov! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Elvis Blanc and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kriznov clinches. Kriznov keeps control of Petrie as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Kriznov has Petrie pressed against the cage, preventing Petrie from circling away and getting back to striking at range. A little feinted left hand from Petrie on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Kriznov is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Petrie throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Despite the aggression on Kriznov's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Kriznov dives in and grabs Petrie's left leg, looking for a takedown. Petrie pushes down on Kriznov's head and hops out. A left and a right from Petrie both land. Nice combination. Petrie connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Kriznov misses with a double jab
and Petrie counters with a straight right hand. Petrie misses with a few strikes there.

Petrie stuffs the takedown attempt from Kriznov. Kriznov gets slowly back to his feet. Kriznov looks winded! Petrie gets tackled into the cage by Kriznov. Kriznov maintains the clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Petrie tries to close the distance and clinch but Kriznov swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Petrie displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.

Petrie slaps away a takedown attempt from Kriznov, before circling back to the center of the mat. Petrie thinks about countering with a head kick. Petrie bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Kriznov's head backwards. Kriznov dives in for a single leg takedown but Petrie sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Petrie tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Kriznov manages to circle out of the way. Drew Petrie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Oleg Kriznov. Kriznov throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Petrie's waist but Petrie gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kriznov off to one side. Kriznov is breathing heavily. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Donk. Petrie catches Kriznov right on the button with a cross. Kriznov wants to land a leg kick but Petrie is out of range. Kriznov tries to clinch but Petrie is having none of it. Nice jab there from Petrie. Petrie is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Kriznov breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Petrie lands a really nice looking cross but Kriznov seems unphased.

He's simply no match for Kriznov on the ground. Kriznov is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Petrie defends well. That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Petrie pulls Kriznov in close to his closed guard and prevents Kriznov from doing any damage or advancing position. Petrie looking for subs off his back but Kriznov has passed one foot through into half guard.
Kriznov slows the pace down in half guard. Petrie tries to kick Kriznov off but Kriznov keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kriznov seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Petrie does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Petrie punching from the bottom.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A frustrated look appears on Petrie's face as he tries to break the clinch. Kriznov tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Petrie is trying to break the clinch but Kriznov is controlling him. Kriznov pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Petrie lands a nice looking body shot.

This has been an exciting period of action! Petrie throws a combination. Kriznov tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Petrie throws a head kick that misses. Petrie falls off balance throwing a combination
and Kriznov counters by clinching up. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Kriznov has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Petrie uses from the top position. Oleg Kriznov has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Drew Petrie is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Kriznov working for a triangle but Petrie defends it easily.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Oleg Kriznov. I think Petrie has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
