The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ogden tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Riggs tries to clinch up. Riggs tries to clinch but Ogden moves out of range. Riggs misses with a two punch combination.
Ogden walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Riggs checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Riggs throws a sloppy head kick and Ogden moves out of range easily. Riggs fails with a takedown attempt. Riggs misses with a hook. Ogden ducked under it nicely. The fight stays on the outside here - Ogden looks like he's thinking about clinching though. David Ogden seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Riggs circles away from the clinch attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Riggs gets in close and instigates a clinch. A short uppercut from Riggs. Riggs gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Ogden.

That's one minute gone in the round. Ogden is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Riggs can't fight it off and eventually Ogden manages to take the fight to the floor. Riggs looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Riggs is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Riggs working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ogden doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ogden manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Ogden controls from within his opponent's guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Ogden is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Ogden in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Ogden content to stall in guard here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Riggs has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Ogden can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Ogden content to stall in guard here. Ogden trying to control the position from guard on top but Riggs is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Riggs wants to clinch and Ogden counters with a slapping leg kick. Ogden tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Ogden clinches. Ogden has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Riggs is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Riggs unloads a knee to the mid-section. Ogden lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Ogden wants a takedown but no success here.
Ogden pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. David Ogden is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Riggs checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Ogden avoids the head kick by Riggs.
Riggs is looking to clinch but Ogden is avoiding it.
Ogden scores with a crisp jab that stopped Riggs in his tracks. Riggs with a lazy takedown attempt and Ogden counters with a nice leg kick. Riggs misses with the combination.
Riggs doesn't manage to clinch there - Ogden circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Riggs fails with a takedown attempt. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Riggs tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Nice sprawl there from Riggs as Ogden shoots in. Ben Riggs has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of David Ogden. Ogden shoots for a double leg takedown but Riggs sprawls well. He's pushed Ogden's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Ogden scores with a nice body kick.
Ogden drives through with a takedown into guard. Ogden is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Riggs working a defensive guard here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Riggs pushes Ogden off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Ogden closes the distance looking to clinch and Riggs counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Ogden's guard now. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ogden has control of Riggs's left arm, preventing Riggs from doing any damage. Riggs preventing the sweep.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Riggs would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Riggs looking to pass the guard. Ogden escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Riggs gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Ogden not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Riggs pushing down on Ogden's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Riggs tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Ogden.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Ogden gets full guard. Ogden trying to keep a closed guard but Riggs is proving a slippery customer.
Riggs throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Ogden works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Ogden is pulling down on Riggs's head. It's preventing any offense from Riggs, at least for the moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but David Ogden will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's time! Back to the action! And we move into the final round!
Riggs with a poor takedown and Ogden counters with a nice low kick that buckles Riggs's knee momentarily. Ogden throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Riggs stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Ogden rushes Riggs and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Riggs tries to pull guard but Ogden holds him up against the cage and eventually Riggs drops back down to his feet.
Ogden goes for a takedown in the clinch but Riggs prevents it.
Ogden misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Riggs.

Ogden closes this distance looking for a takedown but Riggs circles away. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Riggs fails with the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ben Riggs. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Ogden throws a hook to the side of Riggs's head but Riggs sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Ogden wants to clinch and Riggs connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Ogden tries to clinch but Riggs moves away so Riggs counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Ogden looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Riggs pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Ogden is keeping the position for now. Ogden keeping moving, preventing Riggs from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ogden is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Riggs wants to stand but Ogden has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Riggs trying to control the position from guard on top but Ogden is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Riggs trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Ogden manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Ogden wants to control from the top but Riggs keeps moving.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. An inside leg kick lands from Ogden. Ogden lands a nice leg kick that just misses Riggs's sensitive parts. Ogden shoots for a double leg takedown but Riggs sprawls well. He's pushed Ogden's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. David Ogden is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Ogden looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Riggs throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Ogden's head. Riggs shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Riggs looks to land a body kick but Ogden moved away. Ogden wants to clinch but Riggs slips to the side and Riggs counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Riggs. A head punch blocked on the inside by Ogden. Riggs misses with a knee strike.
Ogden manages to break the clinch.
Riggs takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
A head kick misses from Riggs. Ogden shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Ogden was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Ogden trying to control but he's not successful this time. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Ogden controlling from the full mount.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ben Riggs. I think Ogden has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
