Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jake Field (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adlan Amagov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jake Field!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Adlan Amagov!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Anni Minnemäki and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice uppercut there from Field.


It looks like Adlan Amagov has been cut.
Field cracks Amagov with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
A slow jab from Field misses its intended target.
Amagov feints the counter takedown.
A looping hook to the body misses from Field. Amagov does a little dance to reset his feet.
Amagov throws a sloppy head kick and Field moves out of range easily.
Amagov walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Amagov shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Amagov showed some decent athleticism there.
Field is trying to get back to full guard.

Field is trying to control but can't.

Amagov controlling the pace.
Field knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Amagov on the ground.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Field is looking to control Amagov's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Field avoid being mounted?
Field is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Amagov is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Field tries to sprawl but Amagov drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Field wants to control but Amagov is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Field is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
Amagov is taking a breather. Field says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Amagov's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Field tries to get to full guard but Amagov has control of the leg.

Amagov is figuring out what he wants to do next.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Field keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Field gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Amagov pushing down on Field's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.

Amagov decides to stand and escape the position.
Field tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Amagov steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Field.

Amagov shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Amagov showed some decent athleticism there.

Field wants to control but Amagov is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Still in half guard, Amagov seems content to control.
Amagov prevents Field from improving his position.
Amagov controlling the pace.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Amagov in particular looking to stall.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Field thows a left - swing and a miss!
Field misses with a looping left.
Amagov uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Field.
Field waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Amagov.

Amagov gets the takedown into side control.
Amagov content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Field prevents Amagov from improving position.

Amagov thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Amagov has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Field tries to buck Amagov off but Amagov is having none of it.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Field being controlled for a moment.
Adlan Amagov has got the better of the ground game so far.
Field tries to control but Amagov manages to take his back.

Amagov is cranking Field's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Field! He's tightened the choke and Field is tapping out!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Adlan Amagov!
