Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Khalid Hayes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sher Shah Suri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hayes comes into the arena with Flight of Icarus blaring out of the sound system. Suri has chosen Slim Thug Feat T.I. & Bun B - 3 Kings as his entrance music. Khalid Hayes is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

With a record of 38 - 16 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sher Shah Suri!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Atkins and Daniel Bishop.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice leg kick lands there from Suri.
Suri misses the shot to the body.
Hayes throws a big counter combination but Suri scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Some bone on bone action there as Hayes checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Hayes throws a left and a right that both miss
and Suri counters with a nice uppercut.
Suri cracks a nice hook into Hayes's ribs.
Suri shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Hayes looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Suri moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Suri scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

Suri looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Suri has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Suri throws an overhand right that lands on Hayes's shoulder, as Hayes tries to avoid the shot.
Suri throws the left hand but Hayes avoids the punch easily.
Hayes keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Hayes fires out a quick counter leg kick but Suri just manages to avoid it.
Hayes finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Suri has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Suri throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Hayes stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Hayes ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Hayes feints and then cracks Suri's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Suri down.
Sher Shah Suri seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Hayes thuds his right hand into Suri's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Suri connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Hayes's hands.
Hayes needs to keep his hands up - Suri had a free shot at his head there.
Suri throws a front kick aimed at Hayes's knee but Hayes avoids it well.

Crunch! Hayes slams his shin into Suri's torso.
Suri checks the leg kick nicely there.
Suri swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Hayes tried to counter with a leg kick but Suri avoided it.
Hayes has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Suri.
Suri jabs Hayes right on the nose. Hayes blinks but takes it well.

Hayes clobbers Suri with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Hayes feints and then cracks Suri's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Suri down.
Hayes throws a leg kick which misses Suri's front leg but catches the back leg as Suri tries to avoid it.
Hayes throws out a leg kick but Suri moves out of range and Hayes only half commits.

Hayes moves out of range of the strikes.
Hayes was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Suri misses with a hook
and Hayes counters with a nice leg kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Suri throws a hook but Hayes blocks it.
Hayes is looking to counter punch.
Suri is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Hayes had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Suri bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Hayes's head backwards.
Suri misses with a low kick.
Suri swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Nice defenses there by Hayes.
Suri uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hayes.
Hayes fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Suri.
Hayes just misses with a punch to the body.
Suri only half commits to the counter leg kick.
Hayes ducks under a wild hook from Suri.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Sher Shah Suri will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Suri's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Hayes sends Suri crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Hayes is motioning to the referee to let Suri up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Suri tries to score with a low kick but Hayes moves his leg out of the way.
Suri wants to land a leg kick but Hayes is out of range.
Hayes with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

Suri is still on wobbly legs! Can Hayes finish him?
Hayes throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Suri leaves his chin hanging out and Hayes seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Suri crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
