Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mikky Milky Way (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cameron Hicks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mikky Milky Way could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Cameron Hicks's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Mikky Milky Way!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Cameron Hicks!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Daniel Franklin and Sandra Marshall.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Milky Way darts in trying to clinch

and Hicks decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Milky Way's guard.
Hicks content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Hicks trying to control the position from guard on top but Milky Way is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Hicks looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Hicks tries to stand but Milky Way is controlling from the bottom.

Milky Way has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Hicks drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hicks jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Milky Way had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hicks defends it easily.

Hicks postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

And an attempted straight right on the counter from Hicks! But no joy.

Hicks tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Hicks has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Hicks swings around for an armbar but Milky Way sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Hicks's guard.

Milky Way drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Hicks manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Milky Way has Hicks in his guard.
