Jodoin misses with a straight left.
Thompson uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Jodoin.
Jodoin looks to land a left hand but Thompson moved out of range nicely.
Jodoin shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Thompson as he avoids it easily.
Thompson cracks the inside of Jodoin's front leg.
Thompson drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Jodoin looking for a sweep. Not yet Jodoin, not yet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Thompson looking to improve position, pressing down on Jodoin's thigh with his hand. Jodoin seems to be working to lock up a guilotine though... is Thompson paying attention? Apparently not! He's locked it up tight! Thompson's face has turned purple! Will he tap? Will he! YES! He's tapped! Jodoin picked his opening and made it count! Great finish!
