The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Longwe misses the shot to the body.
Santos Jr shoots in but Longwe avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Longwe instigates a clinch.
Santos Jr wants to take the fight to the mat but Longwe manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Longwe is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Santos Jr pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Longwe continues to stall. The referee tells him to work or he's going to break them up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Santos Jr is trying to pull guard but Longwe turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Longwe shoots in and gets a takedown into Santos Jr's guard.

Longwe is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Santos Jr is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Santos Jr has escaped and now he's on top!

Longwe is looking for a triangle but Santos Jr pushes his legs off easily.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Longwe is looking for a triangle but Santos Jr pushes his legs off easily.
Longwe has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Santos Jr has passed into side control.
Santos Jr wants to stand but Longwe has his arm trapped.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Longwe is defended easily by Santos Jr.
Santos Jr really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Longwe closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Santos Jr quickly recovers to half guard.

Longwe is looking for a kimura here.
Will Longwe has got the better of the ground game so far.
Santos Jr is pressing down on Longwe's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Santos Jr lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Longwe looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Santos Jr puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Santos Jr seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Longwe does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Longwe has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Longwe keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Longwe is looking to control Santos Jr's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Longwe avoid being mounted?

Longwe tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Santos Jr presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

Longwe holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Santos Jr tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Santos Jr with shots to the head and body - Longwe looks very uncomfortable down there.

Longwe tries to lock up and control but Santos Jr gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Santos Jr lands a couple of good shots and Longwe has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
Santos Jr tries to get the hooks in deep but Longwe pushed the leg off.
Santos Jr throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch.

Santos Jr has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Longwe is defending well but eventually Santos Jr manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Longwe has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
