Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Megnus Maximus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Drake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marcus Megnus Maximus had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 267.0lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are William Peck, Yves DeLean and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drake lands a glancing blow to the side of Maximus's head.
Drake missing with a left hand there. Maximus was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Maximus takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Drake tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Maximus was well out of range. Poor timing from Drake.
Maximus just misses with a punch to the body.
Maximus is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Drake.
Drake fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Maximus manages to avoid it.
Drake feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Maximuss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Ohhhhhhhhhh, brutal head kick from Drake! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). David Drake!
David Drake decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
