The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Paulsen Ambrosius and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flannery with a poor takedown
and Pavlovich counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
It looks like Desmond Flannery has been cut.
Pavlovich lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Flannery fails with the takedown
and Flannery takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Flannery will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Pavlovich has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Flannery is landing a low percentage of strikes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Desmond Flannery. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Flannery fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Pavlovich avoids it really well and circles away.
Pavlovich slaps away a takedown attempt from Flannery, before circling back to the center of the mat.
A little jabbing left from Pavlovich on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Flannery shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Pavlovich connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Flannery closes the distance and clinches up with Pavlovich, looking for a takedown. Flannery pushes Pavlovich against the cage but Pavlovich circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Flannery looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Flannery is rocked!
Flannery drops his hands momentarily. Pavlovich doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Flannery staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Flannery doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Anton Pavlovich!
