The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight stays on the outside here - Dixon looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Ivanstar throws a sloppy head kick and Dixon moves out of range easily. Dixon checks a low kick from Ivanstar. Ivanstar cracks Dixon with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Ivanstar tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Dixon avoids the head kick by Ivanstar.
Dixon shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ivanstar as he jumps to the side. Dixon takes one on the button. Ivanstar wants to clinch. A big left from Ivanstar misses. Dixon tries to clinch but Ivanstar moves out of range. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. A kick lands to the mid section there for Ivanstar. Ivanstar looks to land a body kick but Dixon moved away. Dixon slips a jab and a cross from Ivanstar.
