Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Carl Woods (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jan Egeland (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Egeland has chosen Jan Egeland as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Carl Woods!

With a record of 9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jan Egeland!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Colin Fray and Jeff Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Egeland uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Woods.

Egeland manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Woods on his heels. He'll look to pass Woods's guard now, I'm sure.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Woods enables Egeland to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Woods manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!

Egeland takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Woods fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Egeland to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Egeland looks to clinch but Woods throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Egeland taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

Carl Woods tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
