Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Russell Pearce and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jardine looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Roduez throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Roduez is looking to control Jardine's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Roduez avoid being mounted?
Roduez regains full guard. Nicely done.
Jardine really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Roduez. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Jardine tries to free his leg and advance position but Roduez is retaining full guard.
Roduez has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Jardine off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Jardine tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Roduez swivels and escapes.

Roduez parries the strikes from Jardine easily there. Jardine is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Roduez to escape.

Jardine works his foot free and advances to mount.

Roduez somehow manages to escape the mount and get back to his feet!

Jardine tries for a takedown but Roduez circles away easily
and Roduez decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Jardine's guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Jardine looks gassed!
Roduez chips away with some ground and pound.
Roduez wants to control from the top but Jardine keeps moving.
Jardine manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Roduez is desperately trying to improve his position but Jardine has a good base and remains in mount.
Jardine lands a big elbow.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Jardine cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Roduez is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Roduez tries to lock up and control but Jardine gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Roduez trying to punch from the bottom. They're landing but they're really not going to hurt Jardine.
Roduez wants to hold on but Jardine pushes him away.

Jardine throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Jardine throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.
Roduez regains half guard.
Roduez keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Jardine prevents Roduez from standing back up.
Jardine is thwarting Roduez's attempts to control the position.
Roduez is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Jardine is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Jardine is looking to advance position but Roduez won't allow it.

Roduez gets full guard.
Roduez is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Jardine postures up.
Jardine lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Roduez bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jardine's guard.
Jardine manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Roduez manages to get himself to full guard.
Jardine wants to pass the guard but Roduez is keeping the position.
Roduez is trying to keep Jardine in close.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jardine prevents Roduez from getting back to his feet.
Roduez escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jardine gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Roduez doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Roduez has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jardine can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Roduez can't escape the position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

A close round but Keith Jardine will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Roduez closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Jardine to the mat! Jardine manages to get full guard.
Roduez is pushing down on Jardine's leg trying to pass to half guard. Jardine is fighting to maintain full guard but Roduez has managed to sneak the leg through.
Jardine tries to roll over but Roduez keeps him under control.
Jardine is defending against the submission attempts here by Roduez.
Roduez is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Jardine defends it well.
Jardine is looking for a sweep. Roduez is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Roduez takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Roduez perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
