Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Enrique Jimenez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zig Zag (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Enrique Jimenez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Zig Zag! The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Marco Blurström and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zag is trying hard to land a takedown here. Jimenez sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Zag throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Jimenez appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Zag moves into the clinch successfully.

Jimenez really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Zag manages to break the clinch.
Zag stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Zag wants it to stay on the feet. Zag lands a glancing blow to the side of Jimenez's head.
It looks like Enrique Jimenez has been cut. Zag darts in and clinches Jimenez up against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Zag tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Zag prevents Jimenez from breaking the clinch. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Jimenez just misses with a elbow thrown towards Zag's brow. Jimenez tightens his grip and picks Zag up, before dumping him to the ground. Zag manages to land in guard. Jimenez postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Zag trying to control the position.
Zag trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Jimenez has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Jimenez throwing strikes from guard but Zag blocks nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jimenez passes into half guard under a barage of strikes. Zag trying to control but Jimenez postures up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Zag is trying to stand up here but Jimenez is controlling him well. Zag has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Zag manages to get to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Zag has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Jimenez is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Zag. Jimenez looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Jimenez is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Zag knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Zag can't do much from the bottom here. Jimenez will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Zag is pushing Jimenez's head away, looking to escape. Jimenez manages to hold on to the position though.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Zag gets a clinch. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jimenez's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Zag tries for a takedown but Jimenez sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Zig Zag will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Enrique Jimenez's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Zag closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Jimenez prevents Zag from breaking the clinch. Jimenez has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Zag avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Zag tries to circle away but Jimenez has him pinned against the cage. Zag jumps guard but Jimenez turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Zag misses with a knee strike.
Jimenez breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Zag scores with a takedown into Jimenez's guard. Jimenez throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jimenez is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Zag defends well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zag decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Jimenez, up you get! Zag stuns Jimenez with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Zag gets in close and instigates a clinch. Zag fails to pull guard.
Zag tries to circle away but Jimenez has him pinned against the cage. Come on Zag - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Zag gets control of Jimenez's arms and successfully pulls guard. Zag will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Jimenez distracts Zag with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Jimenez throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Zag works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Zag looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Enrique Jimenez overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Zag looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Jimenez passes into half guard.
Zag is breathing heavily. Jimenez is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Zag sees it coming and defends easily. Zag wants to get back to full guard. Zag moves into full guard.
Jimenez got a little sloppy there for a moment and Zag has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jimenez has managed to get both his arms back between Zag's legs - danger averted. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Zag looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Jimenez has picked Zag up and slammed him! Zag can't keep hold of the triangle and Jimenez manages to pass to side control! Jimenez is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Zag has escaped the position, nice work there. Jimenez creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Zag is looking to reverse the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Zag is trying to control Jimenez's posture but Jimenez avoids it. Jimenez tries for a kimura but Zag is defending well. Jimenez cracks Zag with a big right hand but Zag just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Jimenez gets to mount! Zag was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Zag wants to control but Jimenez is having none of it. Zag tries to control Jimenez's body but Jimenez pushes him off. Zag squirms to his side and now Jimenez has his back! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Zig Zag showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Enrique Jimenez's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Jimenez gets tackled into the cage by Zag. Zag maintains the clinch. A quick uppercut on the inside from Zag. Zag avoids the elbow strike from Jimenez, against the cage.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Jimenez tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Zag avoids it. Jimenez avoiding damage as Zag throws knees to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round. Zag advances position into side control! Both fighters are breathing heavily. Zag wants to control but Jimenez is keeping him busy. Zag lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Jimenez down.
Jimenez is trying to control Zag's posture but Zag avoids it. Jimenez is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Zag wants to control but Jimenez is keeping him busy.

Zag has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Zag tries to bum rush Jimenez with a series of wild strikes but Jimenez uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Zag shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jimenez as he jumps to the side. Enrique Jimenez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Zig Zag. Zag closes this distance looking for a takedown but Jimenez circles away. Zag closes the distance and clinches. Jimenez pulls guard successfully.
Jimenez is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Jimenez has control of Zag's left arm, preventing Zag from doing any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jimenez has a closed guard, preventing Zag from standing up. Zig Zag is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Zag wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Jimenez's closed guard. He's half up but Jimenez has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Jimenez pivots and extends the arm, Zag falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Jimenez! Well done that man!
