Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Avery McCurnin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Radu Radauteanu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Avery McCurnin has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Radauteanu keeps the fight on the outside.
McCurnin with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Radauteanu on the wrong end of a nice hook.

Radauteanu closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
McCurnin wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Radauteanu has him pressed against the cage.

McCurnin pulls Radauteanu into guard.
McCurnin is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
McCurnin utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Radauteanu connects with a couple of short punches.
McCurnin is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Radauteanu is controlling him.
Radauteanu really doesn't want to stay on the ground with McCurnin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Radauteanu postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

McCurnin is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Bobby B's that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Radauteanu pulls McCurnin in to control the position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Radauteanu can do anything to dispel that myth.

McCurnin wants to pass the guard but Radauteanu is keeping the position.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
McCurnin wants to control from the top but Radauteanu keeps moving.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Radauteanu shoots in looking for a takedown. McCurnin tries to sprawl out of it but Radauteanu keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. McCurnin manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
McCurnin misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Radauteanu.
Radauteanu shoots in for a takedown but McCurnin shows good takedown defense.

Radauteanu keeps the fight on the outside.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Radauteanu.
Avery McCurnin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Radu Radauteanu.
McCurnin tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Radauteanu manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Radauteanu drops down looking to force a counter takedown but McCurnin defends it well.
McCurnin throws a one two combo.

It looks like Radu Radauteanu has been cut.
McCurnin lands with a hook. Radauteanu tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Good exchange - McCurnin coming out on top.

Radauteanu is rocked!
McCurnin's jab looks to have found its range, popping Radauteanu under the eye.
Radauteanu is still on wobbly legs! Can McCurnin finish him?
McCurnin scores with a hook to the body. Radauteanu takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
McCurnin lands with a right and another and another! Radauteanu is in big trouble! McCurnin lands again and this time it's lights out for Radauteanu! A quality knockout there for McCurnin.
