Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Abel Gomez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Markus Landfill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Landfill's choice of entrance music: Pretty tied up. Abel Gomez has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gomez forces Landfill back against the cage and clinches.

Landfill drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Gomez manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Landfill has Gomez in his guard.

Gomez got a little sloppy there for a moment and Landfill has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Gomez has managed to get both his arms back between Landfill's legs - danger averted.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Landfill closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Gomez quickly recovers to half guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Landfill frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Gomez is bucking up trying to escape but Landfill cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Landfill has hold of Gomez's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Gomez manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
