Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Juan Koski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
19 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mats S�derlund!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Donald Grub and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
S�derlund misses with a hook. Koski ducked under it nicely.
Koski tries to counter with a takedown but S�derlund is quick to defend against it.
Mats S�derlund seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Koski throws a shot from downtown. S�derlund moves away and avoids it.
The fight stays on the outside here - Koski looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
S�derlund pulls out of a head kick attempt.
S�derlund displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Koski throws out the jab.
Koski manages to get an easy takedown there - catching S�derlund on his heels. He'll look to pass S�derlund's guard now, I'm sure.
S�derlund lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
S�derlund has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Koski to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! S�derlund is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Koski pulls down on the head and he's put S�derlund to sleep! This one is all over!
