Carter has chosen Black Betty as his entrance music. Rayjay Carter has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Jordan Olson's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jordan Olson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rayjay Carter! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Dillan Fox and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Olson gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Carter drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Olson manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Carter has Olson in his guard. Olson missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Carter working a defensive guard here.
Olson trying to control but Carter is working from the bottom. Olson preventing the sweep. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Olson missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Carter is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Olson is controlling him. Olson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Carter lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Olson wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Carter postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Olson is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Carter tries to free his leg and advance position but Olson is retaining full guard. Olson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Carter is one step ahead there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Olson working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Carter. Olson seems keen to control Carter's posture. Carter stands up and waves to Olson to follow him. Carter moves into the clinch. Carter goes for a takedown attempt but Olson pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Carter slaps away a takedown attempt from Olson, before circling back to the center of the mat. Carter shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Olson pinned against the cage. Olson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. The fight moves into the clinch position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Olson is defending well against a takedown attempt. Jordan Olson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rayjay Carter. Carter misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Olson manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Carter escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Carter looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Carter feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Olson pulls Carter in to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Carter lands a couple of decent looking shots. Olson pulls Carter in to control the position. Carter is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Olson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Carter is one step ahead there. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Olson has his hands on Carter's head, controlling the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rayjay Carter dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Carter shoots for a double leg takedown but Olson sprawls well. He's pushed Carter's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Olson shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Carter dives in for a single leg takedown but Olson sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Olson half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Olson shoots in but Carter avoids the takedown attempt easily. Carter scores with a takedown into Olson's guard. Olson wants to sweep here but Carter controlling him for the moment. Carter working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. My spies in Pitbull MMA inform me that Carter has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! Carter has been the more effective fighter overall so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Olson controls Carter momentarily but Carter frees himself.

Olson has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Carter passes Olson's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Ground and pound from Carter.
It looks like Jordan Olson has been cut. Olson wants to get back to his feet.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Carter seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Olson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Olson is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Carter scores with a couple of nice shots. Olson is concentrating on defense, preventing Carter from advancing position.

Olson could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Carter drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Carter jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Rayjay Carter has got the better of the ground game so far. Carter is stalling in the full guard. Carter throws a big right hand that misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Carter is fighting to break Olson's control of his arms but Olson is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Olson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Carter sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Olson somewhat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jordan Olson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Carter fails with a takedown attempt. Carter will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Rayjay Carter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Carter closes the distance and clinches up with Olson, looking for a takedown. Carter pushes Olson against the cage but Olson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Olson changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Olson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Carter as he avoids it easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Carter shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Olson defends it nicely. Carter fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Olson to the ground. Carter is now in Olson's guard. Olson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Carter is one step ahead there. Carter distracts Olson with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Olson wants to get back to his feet but Carter is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Carter's corner. There ya go! There ya go! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rayjay Carter showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Jordan Olson's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Carter postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Olson is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Carter, into his guard.
Olson has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Carter looking to hit a scissor sweep but Olson is one step ahead there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Olson is stalling in the full guard. Carter is trying to keep Olson in close.
Olson drops back looking for a leg! Carter is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Carter manages to kick Olson off! Olson jumps back into Carter's guard. Carter is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Olson with a flurry of punches that miss. Carter has his hands on Olson's head, controlling the position. Olson postures up in Carter's guard and throws a big left but Carter blocks it.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Olson pivots, looking for a leg kick but Carter is out of range and Olson settles back down. Carter tries to score a power double leg takedown but Olson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Carter somewhat.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Carter pushes Olson up against the cage in a clinch. Olson gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Carter trying to control the position.
Olson throws a strike but Carter rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Carter in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Olson is pulling down on Carter's head. It's preventing any offense from Carter, at least for the moment. Carter preventing the sweep.
