Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Isaac Frost! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tuke Hong! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Frost takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Frost throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Hong displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Frost lands a jab. Frost cracks Hong with an open hand slap. Frost tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Frost swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Hong counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Hong misses with a punch to the body.
Hong lands an uppercut. Frost tries to throw a body punch but Hong avoids it by throwing Frost back against the cage. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Hong misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Hong's coach down at Disciples Top Team was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Hong's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Frost manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hong sitting in guard here, content to control. Hong postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Frost wants to sweep here but Hong controlling him for the moment. Frost is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Hong defends well. Hong showing good wrestling skills to control the position.

There ya go! Frost had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hong defends it easily. Hong with a nice head shot there. Hong landing with the ground and pound. Hong trying to control the position from guard on top but Frost is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Hong engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Hong pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Frost is keeping the position for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hong got a little sloppy there for a moment and Frost has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hong has managed to get both his arms back between Frost's legs - danger averted. Hong has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Frost had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hong defends it easily. Hong passes Frost's left leg - he's now in half guard. Hong perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Frost is refusing to be controlled, as Hong sits in half guard. Frost has hold of Hong's hands but Hong slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Hong wants to take a breather but Frost is having none of it. Hong landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hong scores with an uppercut up the middle. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Hong. Hong lands a hook that snaps the head of Frost backwards. Hong manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Frost tries to stall but Hong uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Frost jumps guard but Hong stands there with Frost around his waist. Frost gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A nice right hand lands inside from Hong. Frost misses with a hook from the clinch. Hong is struggling to control the position. Tuke Hong seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far. Hong dodges an elbow strike from Frost.
Hong lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Hong is struggling to control the position. Frost misses with some punches.
Hong lands with a light punch inside. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Frost pushes Hong back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Frost jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Hong walks away with a smile on his face. Frost gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Frost takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Frost misses with a right hand and Hong counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Frost pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Frost with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Hong to score with a decent uppercut. Isaac Frost seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Frost misses the shot to the body. Hong circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Frost drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Hong follows Frost to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
