PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Huey Randolph (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stefan Siarzecki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Huey Randolph!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Stefan Siarzecki!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Paul Tew and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Randolph throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Randolph leaves Siarzecki with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
As Siarzecki tries to get set, Randolph tries to push him back and clinch up but Siarzecki manages to avoid the attempt.
Randolph tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Siarzecki manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Siarzecki throws a wild body kick that Randolph sees coming a mile off.
Randolph really is a fat lump.
Siarzecki shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Randolph pinned against the cage. Randolph gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Siarzecki shoots in looking for a takedown but Randolph manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Siarzecki's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Huey Randolph has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Stefan Siarzecki.

Siarzecki shoots in looking for a takedown. Randolph tries to sprawl out of it but Siarzecki keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Randolph manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Randolph is positioning himself well to prevent Siarzecki advancing to mount.

Randolph postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Siarzecki is trying to control the position but Randolph postures up.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Siarzecki wants to sweep but no luck.

Siarzecki trying to control but Randolph is working from the bottom.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Siarzecki pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Randolph is keeping the position for now.

That was a close round but I would say that Huey Randolph will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Siarzecki goes for a double leg but Randolph avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Randolph continues to drive forward.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Siarzecki is defended easily by Randolph.
Siarzecki tries to bum rush Randolph with a series of wild strikes but Randolph uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Randolph drops back looking for a leg! Siarzecki is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Siarzecki manages to kick Randolph off! Randolph jumps back into Siarzecki's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Randolph gets to his feet. Siarzecki looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Randolph dives in and grabs Siarzecki's left leg, looking for a takedown. Siarzecki pushes down on Randolph's head and hops out.
Randolph looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Siarzecki wants to counter the offense by Randolph and move into the clinch position.
Siarzecki shoots in for a takedown but Randolph shows good takedown defense.
Siarzecki takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

and Randolph counters with a shoot takedown. Siarzecki fights it but they end up in guard.
Randolph might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Randolph shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Randolph showed some decent athleticism there.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Randolph has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Siarzecki uses from the top position.
