Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Zepp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Masahiko Kimura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zepp kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Boom! Shake The Room . Zepp has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
24 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bobby Zepp! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Masahiko Kimura! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Alec Ball and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kimura dives in for a single leg takedown but Zepp sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Kimura looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Kimura fails with the takedown and Zepp connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Kimura shoots in for a double leg but Zepp sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Bobby Zepp has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Masahiko Kimura. Zepp swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Kimura. Zepp thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Kimura if he has to take too many more of those.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Zepp swats away the attempt to clinch by Kimura.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zepp lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Kimura backs up against the cage.
It looks like Masahiko Kimura has been cut. Kimura fails with the takedown and Zepp counters with a straight right hand. Zepp slaps away a takedown attempt from Kimura, before circling back to the center of the mat. Zepp lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Zepp cracks Kimura with an open hand slap. Zepp misses with the combination.
Kimura is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Zepp is breathing heavily. Zepp throws a hook but Kimura avoids it easily. Zepp stuffs the takedown. Kimura closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kimura is trying to get an arm triangle but Zepp is defending well.

Kimura seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Zepp is holding on tight.

Kimura fails to move to back control. Kimura controlling from the full mount. Kimura seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Zepp is holding on tight.

That's one minute gone in the round. Zepp misses with a body kick. Kimura is looking to clinch. Zepp throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Kimura closes this distance looking for a takedown but Zepp circles away. Zepp swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Kimura will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Kimura fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Zepp avoids it really well and circles away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Kimura tries to score a power double leg takedown but Zepp sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kimura somewhat. Zepp thinks about countering with a head kick. Zepp fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Kimura looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kimura. Zepp thinks about countering with a body kick. Zepp will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Zepp throws a head kick that misses. Kimura fails with the takedown.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Kimura misses with a takedown and Zepp makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Zepp misses with a double jab.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kimura is keen to just control but Zepp is a slippery customer. Kimura wants to take a breather but Zepp is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kimura wants to free his trapped foot but Zepp is holding on for dear life with his legs. Kimura frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Kimura trying to control but he's not successful this time. Zepp defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Kimura. Kimura tries to control but Zepp wriggling away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kimura looking for a guillotine from mount but Zepp is having none of it. Kimura with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Kimura avoids the attempt from Zepp to control. Kimura jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Zepp is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Zepp and Kimura has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kimura tries for a kimura but Zepp is defending well. Kimura is looking to take a break and control but Zepp is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Kimura goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Zepp rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Kimura's guard! Nice work there by Zepp! Kimura is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kimura is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Still in half guard, Kimura seems content to control. Zepp is not content to let Kimura control the position. Kimura works his way into full mount! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Kimura takes Zepp's back.
And that's the end of the fight! Masahiko Kimura comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Zepp has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
